Stay tuned; we're looking forward to a new year full of safe email correspondence and easy-to-use enhancements!
Small Fish, Big Pond
Technology market research firm The Radicati Group reports that in 2009,
approximately 247 billion emails were sent
each day. The number of people using this
medium to carry out communication is
staggering - nearly 1.4 billion email users
with that number forecasted to rise to 1.9 billion by 2013. With numbers this high, it's critical that users take appropriate action to protect themselves and their families against online fraud and invasive harvesting of information. As we've emphasized to our users during the past year, "common email" is anything but private.
As industry experts explain, nothing you post on the Internet is private. This is true of email messages as well. And unlike other methods of communication, there are very few laws in place to protect the 1.4 billion users sending and receiving email communications.
This is why PrivacyHarbor exists – the small fish in the big pond of email correspondence, navigating users through dangerous seas into a safe online harbor – one free of Internet fraud, privacy violations and the harvesting of personal, private information. PrivacyHarbor was founded on the belief that private and secure email communications should be a cornerstone of all online messaging and one available to all users.
